Editing & Transmission

My service combines the practical (editing for language and content) and the poetic (editing for transmission or language alive with truth). Clients working in fields of health and healing, consciousness and creativity, nature and ecology, and service are a natural fit, but it is my joy to assist with all writing in service to life.

Editing for language

Attention is given to clarity and style, correcting grammar, ‘lifting’ the language and re-writing where necessary, and commenting on flow, coherence, organisation and tone. Track changes are used and comments and suggestions are given alongside the text.

Editing for transmission

The focus is on bringing your unique voice and message to the fore in the most beautiful way, while pruning back where the writing is superfluous or contrived (although there may be soul sparks in the dryness that can be ignited too). Language editing is included in this service.

Documents & rates

I prefer short documents to book length, but all non-fiction copy is welcome, including digital content, articles, essays, reports, vision statements, blog posts, proposals and others. Rates are $50 per hour (US) and R500 per hour (South Africa). Please reach out by email; I value working with people in service to a more beautiful world and would like to be accessible to you.
